We’re in Eden’s bedroom for these “soft” shoots. She loves her room and was very excited to do a shoot in it. Eden collects all sorts of stuff and her room is wall to wall full of little bits and pieces. There’s even poetry hand scribbled on her walls next to road construction signs and beer labels.
Eden is a good talker. This is what she said, “This photo shoot’s been a big confidence builder for my body image because I’ve been very self-conscious about my body for a long time. I am only beginning to realise that I am sexy for just being me. As soon as you’re comfortable with how you are on the inside people can just see what you are. And that is sexy to me.”
Eden said, “I get turned on by foreplay, being touched gently all over. I love being caressed and the occasional smack on the arse too – but not too hard b/c then it hurts and I don’t like that.”
“My first sexual experience was with a guy in his bedroom that I picked up. I decided I wasnt going to do it with a boyfriend but he ended up being my boyfriend after that. It was quite amusing. It was good to lose it because I’d been wanting to lose it for a while. I was 18, he was 19.”
“My last sexual experience was in his bedroom on the rebound after me and my boyfriend broke up. I had big plans to be a floosy. Rebound sex isn’t really that good because afterwards you really feel like shit.”
After the shoot Eden said, “I was so nervous thru the day before Annie arrived. Then my Dad came home during it and that made me laugh the whole time – being naked in my room with someone photographing me.”
